This photo was sent to Old Alabama Rails by Joe Brown of Atmore, Alabama, who writes, "I would like to find out the names of the people in the photo. My father E.B.(Shorty) Brown is third from the right. On the back is listed Robert McPherson, Kimbrough, Mike Mashman, Johnny James, and Pete Cheatman, but I don't know which one is which!" Responses: The man on the far right has been identified as Mike Mashburn by his son, Joe Mashburn, in Brewton, Alabama. He tells us that his father worked on the Mobile & Montgomery Division of the L&N.
