Historical Sketches
How the railroads built a city.

Old Alabama Rails sought out historical experts whom we asked to describe the facilities, operations, and heritage of the various railroads serving Montgomery prior to the advent of the major rail mergers in the 1970's and 1980's. The majority of these authors are nationally recognized for their historical knowledge of the subject they write about herein.
